The Association of Far Western District Champions (AFWDC) presents a spectacular parade of past FWD champion quartets immediately following the Friday evening Quartet Semifinals.

Experience the joy and excitement of quartet singing! You'll sing four original "139th Street" songs in friendly quartet competitions at the start of the convention. The 139th Street Quartet will perform, and you can sing up to 20 past Platoon favorites at a pizza party!

The Rabobank Theater & Convention Center is a 17,840-square-foot exhibit hall and 3,000-seat theater. It was originally known as the Bakersfield Civic Auditorium (opened in 1962) and was later renamed the Bakersfield Convention Center in the 1980s.
Parking for the complex in a lot on the southern side of the arena between N Street on the west, Q Street on the east, and 13th Street on the south.
The theater is divided into seven sections, A-G. For this convention we will be using the three center sections — C, D, and E — giving everyone a great view of the stage. At right is the seating chart; click to view a larger image.

All contestants must purchase an All-Events Registration to the convention to be eligible to compete. Non-competitors have the option of purchasing an All-Events Registration here, or buying Single-Event Tickets at the door. In most cases the All-Events Registration is the better deal.
If you have purchased registrations but need to sell them, you will need to notify the Registrar so that the vouchers and name badges can be changed to accomodate the new person. Please use the Registration Transfer Form found under Downloads, and follow the instructions in that document. Also note that the deadline for submitting changes transfers is the day before online registrations close.
